TURNING THE PAGE: 

Turning the Page is a DC non-profit organization that links public schools, families, and our community so that, together, stakeholders can ensure students receive valuable educational resources and a high-quality public education. One way that Turning the Page raises funds is through used book sales. In conjunction with the Friendship Heights Alliance, Turning the Page is creating a pop-up bookstore at 5221 Wisconsin Ave NW in Friendship Heights (half a block down from Bank of America at Harrison & Wisconsin). The store opens on Friday May 5^th and runs through the middle of June.
On Friday, May 12 from 4pm to 7pm, Jackson-Reed students will be running the bookstore as part of a TIGER TAKEOVER Event. Come out and hear music by Jackson-Reed band BIRTHDAY GIRL plus enjoy treats/food and buy some quality used books to support the cause! Location:  5221 Wisconsin Ave NW
