Dee Holtzner, admissions representative from Trinity Washington University, a women’s university here in DC, will be at Wilson on Thursday, December 16 to hold an on-site admissions event. The documents required to apply are: 1) the application, 2) an essay, 3) your transcript and 4) one letter of reference. Students can submit the application and email the supporting documents to admissions@trinitydc.edu. If students have submitted all of their documents before or at the time of the visit, she will be able to give you an admissions decision that day. She will also have paper applications for students to fill out.

One of Ms. Holtzner’s titles at Trinity Washington is “Dreamers/Relationship Manager.” Here is how she describes her role in supporting undocumented students: “Basically, after I learn about their status, I reach out to each student and work with them about submitting an application to THEDREAM.US which is a scholarship opportunity for undocumented students. Trinity is considered a safe space for undocumented students to option higher education. I work with students in the local schools; but I also work with students in the locked-out states.”
