Greetings Jackson-Reed,

Thank you to everyone who supported our Town Halls last week.  These quarterly events are a way for us to build community and communicate key information to our students throughout the year.  For example, during our Senior Class Town Hall, we announced the date and time DCPS selected for our graduation, which is June 14th at 5:30 pm.

Last week I had the honor of attending our Fall Track team’s end-of-season ceremony.  It was great to hear the seniors share their stories on how wonderful their experience has been and how being a part of the track team shaped them as young adults.  I want to thank Coach T.C. and her entire coaching staff for the incredible work they do with our track team.  This week, we will celebrate all of our Fall athletic teams during the Fall Sports Awards on Wednesday (11/20), starting at 5:30 pm.  This event allows us to recognize the several teams that have won championships and individual student-athletes who had milestones this season.

Lastly, our monthly LSAT meeting takes place on Tuesday, November 19th. During this meeting, we will review and discuss our SY26 projected enrollment. Jackson-Reed received an enrollment projection of 1,732 for the next school year.
