Greetings Jackson-Reed,

As we start this week and look ahead to the 2025-2026 school year, I want to highlight the key role that course selection plays in shaping a meaningful high school experience for all our students.  Our goal in preparing for the next school year is to enroll students in courses they are interested in while still meeting their needs and aligning with school/district priorities. Over the past few weeks, our School Counselors have visited classrooms to provide detailed overviews and guidance on the course selection process. This Friday, March 28, 2025, is the deadline for all students to submit their course requests.

Submitting course requests by the deadline is essential for our planning process. It allows us to determine the appropriate number of sections needed for each course and helps us to balance class sizes. Additionally, timely submissions help us address scheduling conflicts early, make thoughtful adjustments, and build out the master schedule. I encourage everyone to check in with our Tigers about their progress and selections.  Monday through Wednesday of this week, our Counselors will be available during lunch to support any remaining students with their requests.
