Greeting Jackson-Reed,

As we have reached the middle of December, there have been several events that add to the excitement and joy of the holiday season. Last week, we had our Professional School Counselors passing out hot chocolate to students, students explaining their projects during the NAF Engineering Expo, and members of the Student Government Association decorating the atrium. These heartwarming activities build community and enhance the Jackson-Reed experience in many ways.

I want to share a few reminders in this final week before winter break:

• Term 2 Progress Reports: Grades will be updated by December 17th, and progress reports will be accessible in Aspen by December 20th.
• PTSO Pop-Up Shop: Jackson-Reed swag will be on sale during dismissal on December 18th and 19th with proceeds to support school grants. If you’re unable to purchase gear for the holidays, you can donate to our PTSO year round.
• Holiday Adjustments: The next eNews will go out on December 29th and the main office will be open from 9 am – 3 pm during winter break.
