The Jackson-Reed High School community is bursting with pride and inspiration as we announce that Maisie Derlega (Class of 2024) is the 2024 Doodle for Google National Winner!

When you next use the official Google search engine (www.google.com), take a moment to appreciate Maisie's original art, "Family Dinner," which now graces its homepage. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Maisie's achievement and be inspired by her creativity. As a reward for her outstanding work, Google has granted Maisie a $55,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology package. She was also featured on the Today Show, Wednesday June 26, 2004.  

Please join us in celebrating this fantastic accomplishment and recognizing our outstanding art teacher, Ms. Hasan, who supported Maisie and several other Jackson-Reed students in their artistic milestones.
