Goods for Good (G4G)

G4G partners with local nonprofits that provide critical care to economically disadvantaged, underserved, and vulnerable communities in the Washington, DC area. We create community service opportunities to address specific needs of youth, families, and seniors who are homeless/house insecure, migrants, food insecure, or domestic violence survivors. GFG mobilizes and retains the energy and resources of volunteers who provide services and essential goods on a regular and repeated basis. Read more about G4G here.

Join G4G in supporting “Soup for the Soul” by cooking batches of hearty soups/stews/chili from the comfort of your home to contribute to our goal of 1,000 servings for those experiencing food insecurity in January.

Click here to learn more and sign up to cook soup/stews/chili! Each sign up is for 10 servings and you can sign up for as many slots as you wish! Soups can be delivered to a number of local Ally sites, see here.

Students can receive hours towards their community service goal by participating in this project. Please contact stacey.bernards@gmail.com for more information.
