Congratulations to the Class of 2023!!!

What a great graduation ceremony last week for our students and school community! A huge shout out to everyone who made the ceremony, and all of the other end-of-school-year events, a success. A special thank you goes to our wonderful Assistant Principals Camille Robinson and Ronald Anthony and Professional School Counselors Ramona Singletary-Robertson and Leticia Martinez, who were responsible for everything from prom to senior clearance week to graduation. We would also like to thank College and Career Services Coordinator Elizabeth Levenson for helping the Class of 2023 navigate the college and career process. They say it takes a village and our class was very fortunate to have such a talented team supporting our students.

There are a few final housekeeping items to attend to:

  • Graduation Video and Photo – The graduation ceremony was recorded and is available on demand here. Please feel free to share the link with your friends and family who were not able to attend the ceremony. Professional photos from graduation day are also available for order from Lifetouch. You can view and order photos here.
  • Diplomas – Diplomas are being prepared and will be ready for pick-up from Jackson-Reed beginning Tuesday, July 11. Students should bring their diploma cover with them to pick up. Pick-up dates and times are July 11 to August 10 (Monday- Friday) from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Cap and Gown Exchange – For those interested in donating or loaning your used cap-and-gown to a future Jackson-Reed graduating senior, please sign up at the Gown Exchange. Just remember to store the gown hanging neatly on a hanger (do not fold it) until next year when next year’s graduates will have access to the exchange to connect with Class of 2023 families who signed up on the exchange.
