On Friday 11/17 we will be taking a field trip to the Apprenticeships Open House in Lanham, MD. Interested students can come to get the permission slip from Ms. McClure in the College and Career Center.

We will leave Jackson-Reed 9 am, return 3 pm

A multi-trade event with earn-while-you-learn construction apprenticeships from around our region. Tours, exhibits, demonstrations, food and drink.

Some of the Apprenticeships there will be:

– Bricklayers

– Plumbers

– Ironworkers

– Insulators

– Electricians

– Operating Engineers

– Sheet Metal

– Steamfitters

– Carpenters

– Finishing Trades
