Testing at Jackson-Reed

Currently, students at Jackson-Reed participate in several forms of standardized testing. Some of these are during the school hours to assess how our students are learning.  Exams like the SAT and PSAT are taken to prepare them for college application process.  In addition, we conduct Advanced Placement Exams for students enrolled in those classes every spring at Jackson-Reed.

AP Exam Late-Testing Information

May 11, 2025

Because of College Board’s ordering deadlines, students who miss an AP exam and would like to request late-testing need to see Ms. Levenson by 3:30 pm on the next school day to request it. If the student is not able to come to school on the next school day, an email is acceptable. Students will be able to see the new date in their AP Classroom portal; if it is not updated, please see Ms. Levenson.

Students are doing a great job with on-time arrival–please keep it up! The arrival time for morning exams is 7:30 am at the Pool Entrance. The arrival time for afternoon exams is either 11:45 am or 12 noon–see the chart below.
