The Creative Media Academy was introduced at Jackson-Reed in the Fall of 2021. This academy consists of two Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathways: Digital Media and Mass Media. Like all Jackson-Reed Academies the Creative Media Academy offers students paid summer internships between their 11th and 12th grade year and possibly year-long internships during their senior year.

Industry certifications will be earned in career related programs (see below). Creative Media Academy students will enjoy outside speakers, work- based learning experiences and related community service projects. In-person and virtual college visits will be arranged based on student interest. The classroom experience focuses on both individual and group passion projects, and the academy culture thrives on creativity and curiosity.
