Parent/Guardians can now submit enrollment for the upcoming 2024-25 school year! See the steps below to complete your enrollment.

1) Complete SY24-25 Enrollment Packet

Complete the DCPS enrollment packet using online enrollment (link is external) or paper forms.

Existing DCPS Students

Families Returning to DCPS will login to the ASPEN platform using their Parent Portal credentials. If you do not know your Parent Portal credentials or need to update your email address, please contact the school (202-282-0120), or reach out the enrollment team member assigned to your student (see below). A valid email address is required to use online enrollment.

Students NEW to DCPS

Families New to DCPS will click “Request Aspen Account” to create a new account and begin enrolling their student(s).

2) Gather and Attach Supporting Documents

You will need the following documents to complete the enrollment process.

DC Health Certificate Form

DC Health Oral Assessment Form

DC Residency Verification Form

View which documents you can provide for proof of residency in-person.

Based on local school dynamics, additional documentation is required to verify residency for every new student to DCPS enrolling at Jackson-Reed High School. Further documentation includes a home visit as the last step before enrollment is finalized. Home visits by the Jackson-Reed Home-Visit Committee will be scheduled and conducted within 10 days of receipt of signed enrollment forms and DC residency documentation. There will be an exception for LAD, military, and embassy students who have provided official government documentation. 3) Submit Packet & Forms to Enrollment Team
